THE BAZAAR

The inspiration behind having a shop online was borne from the memory of the open air bazaars I roamed in with my grandmother and mother, growing up in Karachi.

There were always such colourful, useful items and of course, seasonal produce. Hand-painted wooden mortar & pestles, spice jars and utensils were displayed under the make-shift shops under tents, with love and care, only two be packed up at the end of the day.

My online bazaar celebrates the unique nature of a Pakistani bazaar, sharing with you some of the kitchen and lifestyle items I love and use in my own kitchen.
