This is my very popular 2 hour Persian class , where you’ll learn all about the flavours of Iran and cooking home cooked recipes with winter comforting recipes. I keep the students to 6 people only now so we can have a wonderful and intimate class. There is demo and hands-on work through the class.
We embrace the changing season with these classes that use this month’s amazing produce in recipes from far and wide. We focus on Persian classics where you will learn how to season and spice these dishes. Afterwards, everyone shall sit together and enjoy the feast they have created, perhaps sharing some tales along the way.
MENU ON THE DAY
Tahdig rice with saffron and a crunchy baked crust
Aubergine and chickpea stew with Persian limes and herbs
Creamy beetroot dip with dill and walnuts
Handmade lavash flatbread making

Our classes are demo and hands-on with group participation.
Due to Covid restrictions we request that you wear mask while in the kitchen, keep your hands sanitised (we provide sanitiser and masks).
This is a 1.5 hour class where you will cook for just about 1.5 hours but are free to stay for another half hour to enjoy the lunch.
