I’m an award-winning writer and cookbook author who grew up in Karachi, Pakistan. I’m an experienced food educator who has taught extensively in London, New York and Glasgow.
I encourage you to cook by trusting your senses and intuition; just the way I learnt to cook as a child. My classes are informal, relaxed and surrounded by nature inside a rustic and old-worldly space in Southside, Glasgow.
In my classes you'll learn my unique skills, techniques and how to layer spices and flavours.
All classes are a combination of hands-on and demo cookery and inspired by my heritage, recipes and books.

This is my very popular 2 hour Persian class , where you’ll learn all about the flavours of Iran and cooking home cooked recipes with winter comforting recipes. I keep the students to 6 people only now so we can have a wonderful and intimate class. There is demo and hands-on work through the class.
We embrace the changing season with these classes that use this month’s amazing produce in recipes from far and wide. We focus on Persian classics where you will learn how to season and spice these dishes. Afterwards, everyone shall sit together and enjoy the feast they have created, perhaps sharing some tales along the way.
