Being an ex-lawyer, I hate long legal documents even more than you! But, this is important. However I promise it’s not too boring! I’ve tried to keep it simple (well, as simple as possible, but your data is important!).

Basically, this policy sets out the basis on which any personal data I collect from you, or that you provide to me, will be processed by me or my company Write Shape Ltd.

 I’d really appreciate if you could read the policy below, so you understand my practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. It also states why and how I collect your data.

We collect your emails and contact details, but I’d like to assure you that we do not sell, rent or trade any email lists or any other information you provide with any third parties. The data controller in respect of my website and services provided is Write Shape Ltd. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the data controller is Sumayya Usmani of Write Shape Ltd.

I take your privacy seriously, and will only use your personal information for the following reasons:

1.    Legal purposes, as I have to provide evidence of income for tax purposes.

2.    The monitoring and improving our website and services.

3.    The performance of a contract between you and us and/or taking steps, at your request, to enter into such a contract.

CUSTOMER DATA – We may process your customer profile data, including your name, business name, address, telephone number, email address and website login details, which you provide in order for the performance of a contract between you and us and/or taking steps, at your request, to enter into such a contract. 

 

PURCHASING DATA -   We may process information relating to transactions, including purchases of goods and services, that you enter into with us and/or through our website. The information in this data may include your contact details, your card details and the transaction details. This may be required to supply the purchased goods and services and for keeping a record of those transactions for legal and accounting purposes. 

 

MAILING LISTS – You have to sign up to any of our newsletters to able to get one, so we do not automatically send you newsletters. Therefore we would not send you an email without your consent. If you subscribe to m newsletters, it’ll be because you have subscribed to them.

You always have the right to unsubscribe to my newsletters, Sometimes I might send out a newsletter to inform you of new products, or services or to check your details are correct, to also find out if you’re happy and need any assistance. This also will only if you had subscribed earlier to my email newsletters. We will never trade, sell or rent out your emails ever to any other business or organisation.  

We may process information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our email notifications and/or newsletters. We use a third party email provider called Flodesk to deliver my newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technology to be monitor and improve my newsletter. Any financial transactions on this website for my services or products are handles by our payment services providers Stripe. The transaction data is shared with Stripe for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.
